Vlad Besprozvany
Founder and Managing Partner
As Founder and Managing Partner of Nexa Equity, Vlad leads the firm's strategic vision, investment thesis, and portfolio growth initiatives while fostering a culture of entrepreneurial excellence and collaborative partnership. Drawing on his journey across premier investment platforms, he identified a critical market gap: the need for a specialized partner who could provide both capital and hands-on operational expertise to founder-led software businesses at a pivotal growth stage. This insight led him to establish Nexa in 2021, creating a firm uniquely positioned to help mission-critical vertical SaaS companies transform into category leaders. Today, Vlad serves on the board of Autura, Easy Metrics, Hometown, Ladle, Leap and Vendara, where he works closely with management teams to drive sustainable growth while preserving founder legacies.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Focus on the little wins. Trying to accomplish a large project can feel daunting but if you focus on the little wins and take it day by day you’ll be amazed at how far you go by making a little bit of progress one day at a time.
How do you unwind after a long day of meetings and deal-making?
Cooking dinner for my family (wife, son, daughter and 2 dogs) followed by sometimes chaotic but always fun bedtime routine with our kids. There’s no negotiators like a 5 year and 1 year old who want one more bed time story before lights out.
Have you ever had an experience that completely changed your perspective on something?
Moving to the US when I was a kid was a life changing experience. Not just because it’s now my home but also because the move taught me that something that initially feels very scary can end up being incredible you just have to jump in and adapt.
What’s a skill or hobby you’ve always wanted to learn?
I want to learn how to rebuild a car engine. As a certified car nut I know a lot about 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s cars but want to learn how to rebuild a vintage car, including the engine.

“The most rewarding part of our work is seeing founders achieve what initially seemed daunting through a series of small, meaningful wins. Having made my own leap moving to the US as a child, I understand that transformation starts with taking that first step into the unknown and then adapting along the way—whether you’re rebuilding a company or a vintage car engine.”
