What motivated you to pursue a career in private equity?
For me, it’s the combination of detail and impact. You go deep into the numbers and analytics, but you also have the privilege of partnering with passionate management teams and help shape where a business goes next.
What’s a personal achievement you’re especially proud of?
One personal achievement I’m proud of is biking from Mexico to Canada. It was a long, demanding trip that took months of planning, training, and focus – but it taught me how far momentum, preparation, and steady progress can take you, even when things get uncomfortable.
What’s the most interesting place you’ve ever traveled to, and why?
Japan. The culture there is unlike anywhere else I’ve been – rooted in centuries-old values yet incredibly forward-thinking. What stood out most was how hardworking and principled people are, while still being remarkably kind and welcoming to outsiders.
What’s your favorite way to spend a Saturday?
Watching IU play – preferably a close game at Assembly Hall with a loud crowd and a lot on the line.
